Summer School on the European Decision-M​aking Process

The European Decision-Making Process: 4-16 July 2011
Confused by Comitology? Puzzled by the practical nature of policy-making? Thinking of an international or diplomatic career in Europe? The IES 2011 Summer School on The European Decision-Making Processes is the ideal stepping-stone. Two intensive weeks divided between two outstanding institutions: Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence: the Institute for European Studies Brussels, and the Vienna Diplomatic Academy provide you with an opportunity to get to grips with both the major features AND the practical details that make up the world of EU decision-making. Featuring visits to the EU institutions, lectures by leading academics and policy-makers and two full days of foreign crisis simulation games, summer school students enjoy a challenging and fruitful two weeks of theoretical and practical insight into the EU and its machinery.
