IIR 2011 Summer Seminar, island of Tinos, Greece

The *Institute** of **International Relations* (IIR) of Panteion University
of Athens, Greece, is pleased to announce its 20th Summer Seminar, which
will be held on the island of Tinos from June 29 to July 4. The theme of
this year's Seminar is: *History & Philosophy of International Relations*.

The Institute of International Relations <http://www.idis.gr/> (IIR) of
Panteion University of Athens invites participation in the 2011 IIR Summer
Seminar "History & Philosophy of International Relations" to be held June 29
- July 4, Island of Tinos, Greece. Since the summer of 1992, the Institute
has been organizing annually an International Summer Seminar on contemporary
international affairs. The Seminar has, thus far, brought together around
356 students from over 35 countries. Its overall purpose is to provide
opportunities for the creation and consolidation of scholarly networks of
cooperation by offering an international forum through which scholars
exchange information on areas of common interest and disseminate research
findings to advanced students. Applicants should be (post-) graduate
students working towards Masters or Ph.D. degrees. All applicants should be
fluent in English. Applications should be received by *April 22, 2011*.
